The archaeological site of Mainamati in Bangladesh which is being regularly excavated for more than four decades, was so far known through some small publications. This critical volume covers most of the locations of the extensive site and attempts a re-appraisal and re-interpretation of the material obtained and reported, thereby unfolding many aspects of the regional history which were not thought very important before.
